Personal Bio
I have an incredibly strong passion for helping adolescents who are struggling. I am thankful for the many opportunities I have been given to help support adolescents and help them navigate the expected and unexpected hardships of life. As someone who is in an inter-racial marriage, I am culturally sensitive to the different world experiences that my clients experience and am thankful that I am able to walk along side them and help them navigate the experiences that have shaped them.
I have worked with adolescents from all different backgrounds and walks of life. Each client has their own set of special experiences, hardships, and more importantly strengths. I respect the autonomy of each client and aim to help them help themselves and give them new tools to use to address their mental health concerns.
I really do believe that human beings are resilient and capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for. Through the process of challenging and reconstructing our thoughts, processing trauma, creating new habits, and learning boundaries, I believe we can move past barriers and live a full life.
